Big Trout Lake – Campsite #12

This site is decently sized and offers everything you’d need. A good fire pit with plenty of seating, flat tent spots nearby, and a sitting rock within the site that faces west to watch the sunset. There’s a large berry bush at the front of the site as well (I probably wouldn’t go eating them, but it’s pretty to look at). I was camping at the small island about 10m in front of this site, but that didn’t stop two different groups from occupying this site during that time. I guess it’s a rather popular site even though it’s right across from the other island? To me this is a good stopover site if you’re camping on Big Trout as part of a loop, but it’s not exactly a destination site.
