This is an all around pretty good site on Big Porcupine Lake. It has flat rock by the shoreline, facing west to enjoy the afternoon sun and the sunset. It has a handful of flat tent spots to choose from. Places to pitch a tarp. And a nice fire pit. The main downside is its location at the start of the narrows, meaning you’ll have a lot of visitors passing directly in front of the site during the day. But if the lake is busy with reservations and this site is available, and you don’t want to take your chances finding something in the south of the lake, then I’d definitely still recommend this site.
