Baby Joe Lake – Campsite #1
This is the sole campsite on Baby Joe Lake, which makes it a good option for morning and evening solitude. During the day however, it will have plenty of people passing by as they travel to and from Burnt Island / Joe Lake. The campsite itself isn’t so glamorous but it does offer all the essentials; a very accessible canoe landing, a fire pit with lots of log bench seating, and flat ground to accommodate multiple tents. It doesn’t offer any nice views and there’s nothing particularly special about this site though. The main appeal is for people who want privacy during the mornings and evenings without venturing farther into the backcountry.
